16 November 2009 - NHS Westminster breathes life into fight against lung disease

To promote World COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) Day on Wednesday 18 November 2009, we are hosting three events.

At the events, Health professionals will be doing a 'spirometer' test for lung function and to identify anyone at risk of COPD, plus giving advice on respiratory disorders.

Malling Health at Westminster has opened its doors to patients. The new family doctor service is open from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week, 365 days a year for both registered and non-registered patients.

21 October 2009 - Get the flu jab

Ask your GP, practice nurse or pharmacist for a vaccination today. The flu jab lasts for up to 12 months, so you need a new one each year. The flu jab cannot give you flu.

19 October - Free tissues for Westminster

35,000 free packets of tissues were distributed across Westminster last week as part of NHS Westminster and Westminster City Council’s campaign to help residents catch their sneezes

13 October 2009 - NHS Westminster wins top national pharmacy award

NHS Westminster received the award for being the first primary care trust in England to develop a free service providing the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination in pharmacies.
