Press release: Westminster PCT’s Dr Connie Smith awarded MBE for services to healthcare

Westminster PCT's Dr Connie Smith, Co Director of Westside Contraceptive Services, has been awarded an MBE for services to healthcare in this year's Queens Birthday Honours.

Dr Smith, 52, from North West London, said "I like to think of it as recognition of the value of the work of the Westside Contraceptive Services team, which I co-direct with Chris Morgan.

"My focus in my work with the Department of Health is that having good access to contraceptive services is an important part of living a healthy life for very many women and men and should not be overlooked as we modernise the NHS."
